PRAYER TO SAINT MICHAEL

                                          (FOR PARATROOPERS)

Dear Saint Michael,  protector of Heaven's Gate,

Guide your Paratroopers,  to a victorious fate....

Please keep us safe,  in peace or war,

To right the wrongs,  that God abhores....

Grant us speed,  the flight of your wings,

The element of surprise,  to deliver our sting....

Give our weapons,  the fighting edge of your sword,

Equip us well,  your Airborne wards....

Protect our flesh,  with your heavenly shield,

Your warrior heart,  that we won't yield....

Grant us strength,  to endure the hardships,

Fairness in dealing,  with those who would harm us....

Bend your wings,  to form our perimeters,

That no enemy assault,  could ever wither....

Grant us courage,  in attack,

Protect our flanks,  and our backs....

Pray for us,  on bended knee,

Lead us through hell,  to victory....

To God's enemies,  grant your vision to see,

That evil will fall,  to those who are free....

Tell them,  freedom is a gift from God,

"The Home of the Brave",  His blessed sod....

"America,  America,  God sheds his grace on thee",

Saint Michael,  Patron Saint of Paratroopers,  lead us to victory...!

INFINITY,  SO CLOSE TO HOME

                                                             by: Peter S. Griffin

When I look into the nighttime sky,

I can't help,  but wonder why?,

Why...?,  can insignificant me,

See all the way,  to infinity...?

The wonders of the great immense,

Oh so clear and evident....

Everything so precisely put,

Not one thing,  underfoot....

Everything in its proper place,

Order and sequence,  suspended in space....

So many miles,  between Heaven and Earth,

One can't imagine,  its beginings,  its birth....

Mankind,  God's favorite creation,

Should be filled with,  excitement,  fascination....

No time to worry,  hate or fight,

Its so clear,  whats wrong,  whats right...!

Our universe,  so huge,  so magnificent,

It's beauty,  the ultimate entertainment....

Theres so much to see and discover,

The greatness of God,  is ours to wonder....

Millions of miles,  how high is the sky?,

Man's ultimate peak,  can be seen in a smile....

Appreciating one another,  so simple and easy,

We can attain this height,  stomachs not queasy....

God made it,  so easy to see,

Life on earth,   can be heavenly....

All that we,  may want or need,

Can be ours,  if we just take heed....

Obey God's word,  praise His name,

Avoid whats wrong,  the devil's game....

All of us can live in harmony,

Just pray to Him,  on bended knees....

Be self content,  the skies the limit,

We all can be,  God's highest summit....

Once there,  we'll see,  God's heavenly throne,

Eternity will be,  so pleasant to roam....

INFINITY,  SO CLOSE TO HOME...!
